Newtown and District U3A starts the new season at 10 am at Plas Dolerw, Milford Road on Wednesday 3rd September with a talk by Gareth Jones of Wrexham U3A on Costa Rica. Our annual membership remains the same at £20.00 with a charge to visitors of £3 per session.
We provide free parking and tea or coffee and an opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new friends. Why not come and find out about our various special interest groups including Classical Music, Book Club, Film Appreciation, Technology and Luncheon Club, We have a varied and interesting series of talks planned for the 2025/2026 season including the Cambrian Railway, A Day in the Life of a Country Solicitor and a talk about the Carpathia, the ship that rescued the survivors of the Titanic so come and join us.
